Owner of East Coast Calls, Glen Gillespie, has been hunting waterfowl on Prince Edward Island for twenty years and professionally guiding for the past twelve. Through the years Glen has established himself as an effective waterfowl guide who has held the position of head guide at Wildgoose Lodge for the past eleven years. He has done numerous hunts for magazine articles as well as television.

“I have been lucky enough to spend many days in the field waterfowl hunting on PEI as well as New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan.

Calling ducks and geese is the most exciting part of waterfowl hunting. I don’t think I would have developed such an interest if it wasn’t for the calling aspect."

In 2003 Glen set out to develop his own brand of short reed goose call. “The development of my goose call was a lot more than I bargained for. Many prototypes were made, changed and scrapped until I had exactly what I wanted. I would not sell a call I wouldn’t take into the field myself”.

In September of 2004 East Coast Calls was formed. "Service after the sale is something I believe in. Whether someone has a question about my product or just how to use a short reed goose call in general, I am always available to answer their questions."
